One of the key advantages of the Tru-Slim collection is its high-quality LED technology, delivering a bright, warm-white light with a soft orange/yellow hue at 2700 Kelvin. The preinstalled LEDs have an impressive lifespan of around 50,000 hours—roughly 20 years of average use—eliminating the need for bulb replacements. Additionally, LEDs operate at a much cooler temperature, helping to protect your artwork by preventing fading or cracking that can occur from exposure to excessive heat.
Energy Efficient
Another advantage of LEDs is their energy efficiency. They consume significantly less wattage than traditional bulbs, reducing operating costs by approximately 75%, while still providing the same level of brightness as incandescent bulbs.
Adjustable Lighting
The Tru-Slim lights feature a 90° rotating shade, enabling you to adjust the angle of the light and secure it in place with two adjustment screws on each side. The height can be easily adjusted using the channel clamps located behind the frame. Positioning the light higher will direct the beam at a steeper downward angle, making it ideal for illuminating taller paintings.
