Description
Saguaros are one of the most recognizable features of the Sonoran Desert. They have long life spans, with a fully grown Saguaro potentially being hundreds of years old. That means that this Saguaro has stood watch over this land long before the city of Phoenix was built and has witnessed many extraordinary sunsets over the Estrella Mountains. I wanted to capture the beauty and uniqueness of the Sonoran landscape in this original oil painting.
