Standing on Navajo Bridge, gazing out at the canyons grandness below me and the Vermilion Cliffs in the distance, I felt a gratitude so vast it echoed in my bones.

This painting is a tribute to that moment—a reverent breath in the presence of deep time. Before me, the earth opened in raw, humbling grandeur, the canyon walls carved by the relentless force of the Colorado River. Layer upon layer of stone told a story written over millions of years, each striation a chapter of ancient oceans, shifting continents, and time beyond imagination. I was overwhelmed with awe—not just at the scale and beauty, but at the profound reminder of how small and fleeting we are.
