Description
Vail Colorado. Have you been? It's a little slice of alpine paradise during the summer and that vibe is amplified by the world class gardens and planters around the ski village.
One flower bed really struck me and it was a bed of Sunstruck Helioposis "False Sunflowers". I love Sunflowers and Daisies so this flower really stood out to me. I love the contrast of the leaves and the bright yellow flower rising from the greenery. I had to capture it.
I ran back to my hotel and grabbed my camera, but I had to hurry a thunder started to rumble and rain clouds swelled. I ran back to the flower bed, steadied the camera while out of breath, with Hummingbirds zipping about, and snapped this beauty.
I hope you love it as much as I do and hang it on your wall some day.
