Doesn't this parrot look so wise? The artist, Samara Doumnande, asked her husband what she should name him, and he replied, "Perroquet" which is French for parrot. She then asked him the word for "wise" in French and he replied "Sage." So together they named this one, "Sage Perroquet" or "Wise Parrot" in English.The original has sold, but the artist does offer prints in 8x10 and 16x20.
