An original oil painting by Deb Bartos on stretched canvas in a black floater frame. It measures 16 x 20 for the canvas painting and 17.5 x 22 for the black floater frame which is included. I painted this from a trip to Durango Colorado and it is on the Million Dollar highway between Ouray and Durango, an incredible drive and a beautiful lake.
Molas Lake has always felt like a place suspended between earth and sky—where the mountains meet their reflection, and the light has a way of settling into stillness. In this painting, capturing the quiet majesty of that scene: the clear alpine water, the jagged San Juan peaks rising in the distance, and the ever-changing Colorado sky above it all.
