Hurricane Mesa Afternoon (Original Painting) by Kirk Parkinson

Hurricane Mesa is located about halfway between the Utah town of LaVerkin and the entrance to Zion National Park.  The valley that hosts the Hurricane Mesa also is the home of several other bluffs and geologic features that are painting favorites of mine.  These mesas are most vivid late in the day when the sun hits them on an angle.
