Description
This painting was created in Sonoma County, California, during the annual Sonoma plein air compeitition. I discovered this location while riding my bicycle along a quiet country road, carrying
my backpack with all my painting supplies.
I was ble to set up along this side road without any disturbance-no passing cars, only the distant sound of cows across the fields. It was a beautiful hot late afternoon, with the light turning golden as the sun
approached the horizon. That warm, fleeting light became the focus of the painting, and I worked quickly to capture the scene as it unfolded.
The painting is executed on linen mounted on board. It is sold unframed to allow collectors the freedom to frame the work according to their individual style and preferences. As with all my paintings, shippping is
included at no additional cost.
