An original oil painting by Deb Bartos of Aspen trees in light and shadow. It measures 16 x 20 for the canvas painting and 17.5 x 22 including the black floater frame. I painted this image from a trip to Aspen Colorado with the Aspen foliage turning golden in September. A magical time and place!
Standing among those trees, with the crisp mountain air and the sound of leaves quaking in the breeze, there’s a sense of stillness and awe that stays with you.The contrast between the vibrant yellow canopies and the cool blues and purples of the distant peaks, and the feeling of being completely immersed in nature’s brilliance.
